The

Mission

MISSION STATEMENT:

PRIORITIES:

ELIGIBILITY:

PHILOSOPHY:

To transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. for a day to visit memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.

Top priority is given to America's most senior heroes — survivors of World War II and any veteran with a terminal illness.  The program is transitioning to Korean War, Vietnam War and all other veterans who have served, on a chronological basis.

All men and women who have served in any branch of the the United States military, stateside or overseas.  All veterans are eligible, whether having served in wartime or in time of peace.  Combat service is not required.

As the United States felt it was important to build a memorial to the service and the ultimate sacrifice of veterans, the Honor Flight Network of Kansas City believes it's equally important that they actually get to visit and experience their memorial.
